Here we are again, my friends. If we were in a non-lockdown world, we would be enjoying the Giro d’Italia right now. However, May might be Giro-less but Tweets of the Week is full of Italian flavour. We also have anonymous Froome family members taking Ineos to task, freedom rides and retired sweatpants
We have tiny riders, virtual riders, contractual riders specifying *no brown M&Ms*! Okay, one of those is a lie … We’re checking in on the pastoral idyll that is Thibaut Pinot‘s farm (baby goats and not so baby goats!), take a trip in Mr Peabody’s Wayback Machine (including the hot pink of T-Mobile), quarantine stories and some cycling calendar speculation (because that’s all it can be at the moment). Yes, it’s TWEETS OF THE WEEK (well, Tweets of the Fortnight to get technical, but it’s not nearly as catchy) … Enjoy!
Time in lockdown just seems to go fast, slow, stop, start. Here we go back in history, we look into the future, and just generally find Tweets to cheer us up, including life on the farm with Thibaut Pinot (goats), Guillaume Martin (donkeys … and some masonry work), and Yves Lampaert on a giant tractor. Also featured: Rohan Dennis takes the car out for a spin (and will probably get fined) while Geraint Thomas makes the most of his garage (and raises serious cash for the NHS). Settle back and enjoy!
