I doubt our guest VeloVoice David Fletcher, who writes in Spanish for http://www.sprint-final.com, was even thinking about Whitesnake’s lyrics when he spoke with Quick-Stepper Matteo Trentin and BMC’s Nico Roche about their hopes and dreams just days before the start of 104th Tour de France in Dusseldorf. But unfortunately, as it turned out, the lyrics are quite apt. All will be revealed.

Tour de France 2017 : Stage 6 – Two in Troyes for Kittel

After the excitement of the last two days, today’s long stage was thankfully calm, with a three-man breakaway out front for most of the hot, sunny route, which predictably ended in a bunch sprint. Marcel Kittel powered through on the left-side of the peloton in a perfectly timed show of strength to take his second stage victory. Green jersey wearer Arnaud Demare was runner-up, with Kittel’s German compatriot Andre Greipel rounding out the podium. Meanwhile, race leader Chris Froome and the rest of the GC contenders finished safely in the peloton.
