Vuelta Stage 9: Dumoulin digs deep to deliver win

Just when you thought this crazy Vuelta couldn’t get any more exciting, it did. Tom Dumoulin‘s Herculean and persistent effort on the day’s final ascent saw him constantly on the offensive until the final few metres, surprising the more noted climbers to take a well-deserved stage win and reclaim the leader’s red jersey which he’d last worn on stage six.
