On the eve of the 100th Giro d’Italia, VeloVoices spoke to one of the youngest riders in the race, Trek-Segafredo’s 21-year-old Mads Pedersen. A prodigiously talented first year neo-pro, Mats was signed after he caught the eye of Trek’s DS Dirk Demol at last year’s Three Days of De Panne, where he finished eighth overall. A former winner of Paris-Roubaix Juniors (2013), the young Dane won his first professional race last year on Tour of Norway’s stage three, where he also picked up the KOM jersey. Continue reading
