Belkin’s Robert Gesink became the first rider in history to win two WorldTour races in Canada, adding the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec to his win in Montréal back in 2010. He outsprinted Arthur Vichot (FDJ) and Greg van Avermaet (BMC) in a chaotic finish to take victory.
While our thoughts are turning towards the final grand tour of the year, we’re still keen to hear about the Tour de France from the perspective of Sophie Chavanel, physiotherapist at FDJ, who shares her experiences and insights from a challenging and ultimately disappointing Tour for the team.

The Tour came to me this year, landing in Nice for the team time trial after three stages on the idyllic island of Corsica. However, I was working all day on my friends’ stand selling the G4 Eurosport Centenary Collection to the many tourists in town for the Tour. Luckily one of my friends was happy to share a few of his photographs.
