FINAL KM: UAE Tour St. 4

Aaaaand the sprint victory goes to Dylan Groenewegen and Jumbo-Visma!

Stage 4, UAE Tour

Dylan Groenewegen powered his way victory on a jittery sprint finish into a headwind. The Jumbo-Visma fast-man rode the wheels of the Deceuninck Quickstep train and launched himself past Sam Bennett in the final metres. Fernado Gaviria (USE-Team Emirates) and Pascal Ackermann (BORA-hansgrohe) placed second and third respectively. Adam Yates (Mitchelton-Scott) finished safely in the bunch to retain his 1:07 min race lead.

So good to see Trek-Segafredo’s Will Clarke back in action. A tremendous effort from first, a breakaway of two, and then finally flying solo. He was only caught 7km from the finish.

For stage 3 we brought you Velon footage of climbing in heat. This time it’s from the heart of the sprint trains in the heat of a finale. It’s not for faint-hearted
