Two race lead grabbing victories. Lets get down to it.
Itzulia Basque Country Stage 4: Lodosa to Lodosa, ITT, 19.4km
Primoz Roglic (LottoNL-Jumbo) scorched around the unusually flat time trial clad in an outrageously green skinsuit to take stage victory by 9 seconds from long-time leader Patrick Bevin (BMC). Sky’s Vasil Kiryenka placed third at +10secs. More importantly the Slovenian Jumbo Bee more than made up the 8 second deficit to race leader Julian Alaphilippe and now holds the jersey by +34secs. Trek Segafredo’s Bauke Mollema moves to third at +1:33.

It’s not easy being green…
Those words just remind me of…
Here he is in yellow cutting dash with a trademark telemark landing podium pose. Seems you can’t quite take the ski-jumper out of Primoz.

Healthy Ageing Tour Stage 2: Westerkwartier to Grootegast, 131.3km
Amy Pieters delivered win number two for Boels Dolmans in a two-up sprint against Canyon SRAM’s Alice Barnes. The pair broke clear with 10km to go and with Pieters’ teammates taming any attacks from behind tore into the finish 35 seconds ahead of the elite chase group. Race leader Anna van der Breggan sprinted for third but the jersey switches to the shoulders of her teammate Pieters.
There’s a video summary of the stage from Podium TV (In Dutch)
Amy has been on fire this spring with victory at Ronde van Drenthe, 2nd at both Tour of Flanders & Dwars door Vlaanderen and 5th at Gent Wevelgem. LOVE this jersey.
She was pushed all the way by Alice today
