Final KM: Stage 1 OVO Energy Tour of Britain

The 8 stage Ovo Energy Tour of Britain kicked off from Edinburgh and will end in Cardiff next weekend. It provides a great tune up for the upcoming World Championships for those riders not suffering in Spain at La Vuelta.

Tour of Britain Stage 1: Edinburgh to Kelso, 190.1km

It was always going to be a sprint and Orica-Scott’s Caleb Ewan was fastest of a four-way sprint – but only just! The Aussie pocket-rocket just pipped Edvald Boasson Hagen (Dimension Data) with Sky’s fast-flying Elia Viviani in third by a whisker from Alexander Kristoff (Katusha-Alpecin).
