Vuelta a Burgos Stage 3: Oja Guareña to Picón Blanco, 173km
Team Sky turned the screws on the Queen stage and Mikel Landa finished it off in some style, riding away from Quick Step Floor’s David de la Cruz (Quick Step Floors) to take his second victory of the race. It was a stage for the young guns to shine, with Quickstepper Enric Mas in third and the equally young and talented Jamie Roson (Caja-Rural, soon to be Movistar) and Miguel Angel Lopez (Astana) in fourth and fifth respectively. Landa extends his race lead to 27secs over De La Cruz.
