Stage three in Poland and it’s up-hill-and-down-dale for most of the day, before it goes up and Up and UP at the end.
Tour of Poland Stage 3: Jaworzno to Szczyrk, 161km
Dylan Teuns (BMC) conquered a never-ending, wall-of-a-finish. Timing his attack on the double digit slopes to perfection to take his first WorldTour win in majestic style. That he is not in the race leader’s jersey is due to some outstanding climbing by Peter Sagan who finished second, just in front of his BORA-hansgrohe teammate Rafal Majka. The World Champ now holds a 6secs advantage on Theuns with Majka at +12secs.
Video, we pick it up with 2km to go just as Oric-Scott’s Jack Haig is about to be reeled in
Haribo power for Teuns
Travel the world, learn a language. The gauntlet is thrown Chad. And how about BOB JUNGELS fresh from making his announcement that he stays a Quickstepper for the next 3 years.
