Final KM: Tour de Suisse Stage 4

The GC contenders stretch their legs and and we all reach for the tissues after a beautiful victory. Tour de Suisse got very emotional.

Tour de Suisse Stage 4: Bern to Villars-sur-Ollon, 143.2km

A day in the breakaway ended in a hugely emotional victory for Larry Warbasse and his Aqua Blue team. The American worked hard to drop his breakaway companions one by one until he was solo with 8km to ride. As the attacks started behind him, he kept pushing until he drove over the line for his first ever professional win and WorldTour victory number one for the Irish team.  Damiano Caruso (BMC) burst out of a select group to finish second and take the overall lead. LottoNL-Jumbo’s Steven Kruiswijk rounded out the stage podium and takes second in GC with Domenico Pozzovivo (Ag2r-La Mondiale) moving to third.
