Final KM: Paris Nice prologue

WorldTour racing kicks off Europe with Paris Nice which sees the peloton ‘Race to the Sun’ over seven stages.

Orica-GreenEDGE’s  Michael Matthews blasted around the 6.1km prologue in a time of 7:39 minutes, one second faster than pre-race favourite Tom Dumoulin (Giant-Alpecin). Kiwi time trial champion Patrick Bevin (Cannondale) took an excellent third place.
