Sprints are the order of the day: a right royal bunch gallop on the last day in Mallorca and a bonus two up duel in France.
Challenge Mallorca Day 4
The last of the four races gave the fast men one more chance to shine, and none blazed brighter than Andre Greipel. Not even the appearance of Cofidis’ Nacer Bouhanni in his glorious pink shoes could derail the Lotto-Soudal express train as they delivered win number two. Dylan Page (Team Roth) rounded out the podium.
Pretty in pink. Bouhanni makes his season debut.
GP Cycliste La Marseillaise
As a bonus we found some video of the traditional French season opener. Why? Because it features a great sprint between Dries Devenyns (IAM) and FDJ’s Thibaut Pinot. Dries comes out the winner with Baptiste Planckaert (Wallonie-Bruxelles) winning the bunch sprint for third.
