The action in Argentina came to a conclusion with a high paced race around the streets of San Luis. The stage win went to Team Italy, but the star of the night was Movistar’s Dayer Quintana who retained his race lead to take a superb victory.
Stage 7, Tour de San Luis: 119.6km San Luis to San Luis
Things might have been a little awkward around the Team Italy dinner table last night as Jakub Mareczko took the stage win by the closest of margins from Elia Viviani. Drapac’s Jason Lowndes rounded out the podium. The overall victory had a definite family vibe with Dayer and Nairo Quintana in first and third, separated by Eduardo Sepúlveda (Fortuneo-Vital Concept).
Oh so close at the finish…
How special is it to share the podium with your brother?
