Redhook Crit Barcelona: This is a great event. A real spectacle. Fading summer and fading light, yet as noisy and colourful as you could want. Often walking around pre-race is as much fun and holds as much interest as the race themselves. I always like to try and turn up early, get a feel for the event, the people and the emotions around.

RHC has a real mix of steely focus and bonkers fun about it. Proper tough racers, but they have a whole lot of fun doing it.
