My favourite expression of astonishment is “Lord Hoy! Would you look at that?” Because, let’s face it, Sir Christopher Hoy is astonishing. An astonishing man who does not sit on his impressive laurels either!
To prove it, Vulpine and Sir Chris have teamed up to put together what Panache would classify as a ‘spicy’ collection of cycling kit. And if you’re at the London Cycle Show this week, you’ll be one of the first to have a look at the new threads in person as Hoy Vulpine launches on Thursday 12th February. If you’re pedalling on down to the show this weekend, meet Sir Chris on the Vulpine stand on Saturday, where he will be talking about the new range, as well as signing jerseys, collarbones, cheques – okay, maybe not cheques – but he’ll be friendly and you’ll be pleased as punch to have met him.
In the meantime, why not flick through the online LookBook. I’m quite partial to the trackside technical t-shirt, myself.
Has to be said that Sir Chris is an out and out legend. Having had the pleasure of meeting him last year at the bike show and bimbling around on a bike, he is a thoroughly nice chap, as his wife Sarra.
Hey John! As I think you know, I don’t really have any interest in track cycling but I am a huge fan of Sir Chris because he just seems so down to earth and unpretentious. He wears his fame lightly. Class act.
That’s quite a swanky looking range! #CyclingSartorialism incarnated in my opinion.
Lovely man, lovely designs and best of all, lovely Mallorca! What more do you need? Bliss 🙂
