Dan Martin & Alex Rasmussen, Passo Giau
Jered: I get along well with the Giau. The Giau has been really good to me. I think it’s fair to say that the Passo Giau was our first break, and not just a little break, a huge one. We’ve been back a number of times since that shoot with Peter Stetina in May 2011, but nothing will ever be able to rival the afternoon, almost exactly two years later to the day, when Dan Martin and Alex Rasmussen climbed the Dolomiti cornerstone in a driving snowstorm. It was incredible, and it was hilarious. I laughed the whole way up, as Alex and Dan traded jokes, while riding harder and harder, deeper into the storm.
