Who is Warren Barguil?

The peloton paused before the start of stage 13 in Valls to remember former Movistar rider Xavier Tondo, who was born in the town. He was killed when he was crushed by his garage door while preparing for a training ride in May 2011.

Definition of the combination classification: The white jersey or combination classification is calculated by adding the numeral ranks of each rider in the general, points and mountain classifications, with the lowest total being the leader of the competition. (So if you are first on GC, second on points and fourth in the mountains, your total score is seven.)
