Tour de France race director Christian Prudhomme provides his honest assessment of Chris Froome‘s ungainly riding style:
The award for the most elegant rider doesn’t exist at the Tour de France any more but Froome probably wouldn’t have been eligible. He’s a kind of Paula Radcliffe on a bike! However, I find Froome very elegant in his way of speaking with a sweet voice and his eyes are very expressive.
